Contrary to what most people have been saying, this barn was awful for both my horse and me. I have never seen such immaturity in a grown adult (Ingrid). The trainer here obviously did want me or my horse at this barn. She treated me with extreme disrespect and made me almost hate coming to the barn. Whenever I would go to see my horse, her employees were required to tell her that I was there and to keep tabs on me. For whatever reason I still don’t know. I never once did anything to intentionally offend this women. She would also send me rude texts, and made it obvious that neither me or my horse were welcome there. My horse is a rescue and has allergies. Ingrid proceeded to tell me what was best for my horse. For example, when my horse stopped eating her grain she insisted that she receive beet pulp. The feed girl noticed that the beet pulp had molasses in it, one of my horses allergens, and immediately asked me if she should be giving it to her. When I brought this up with the manager, she ripped on the feed girl, saying that she needs to stay in her place, and influenced me to continue giving my horse the beet pulp. This resulted in my horses legs to swell up and for the vet to be called. I never once got an apology. Astoundingly, it got WORSE. Fast forward 1 painful year filled with her making me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome coupled with disrespect and a complete lack of curtesy. During allergies season, she override me and went to the vet, with her own biased narrative and insinuated that I should put my horse “out of her misery”. My own vet simply put her on steroids to put her through the allergy season, and immediately got better. Again, no apology. Later my horse got colic. Afterwards, she completely took over my horse’s care, she would not keep me in the loop concerning the health of my horse. I finally snapped when she accused me of getting my horse” the wrong feed again” and that “Newvel was on a different feed the whole time” reasserting that she thinks that she knows what’s best for my horse. Not only was she incorrect, she was out of line. I know what my horse eats, because I’ve been buying it every month for the PAST YEAR. When she was confronted about her past and present bully-like behavior, she hung up the phone like a child but not before telling me that I had 30 days to leave. Thankfully, I had already arranged a quick transfer back to the barn I had regrettably left. It’s apparent that coupled with horselover101 experience, Ingrid does not want sick horses at her barn. Since then I have talked to different vets, barns, and past and current boarders and they all say that Ingrid has a pattern for this sort of immature behavior. Thus, Ingrid effectively bullied a 17 year old girl and her sick horse out of her barn. If I could find give her zero stars I would
