Explore the Anatomy of an Engine. Engines and transmissions (powertrains) built at the Pilgrim Road Powertrain Operations facility power the Touring, Softail, Trike and Sportster models. There are 2 tour options available: The Classic Tour lasts approximately 30 minutes and offers a company history and factory introduction video, a view of designated machining areas that contribute to the assembly of engines and transmissions. The Steel Toe Tour experience lasts approximately 90 minutes and includes a view of the assembly line, powder coat process, cold testing, and steel and aluminum machining.
