Provided by YP.comAfter working on my own for a long time I found that my skills had stalled and that I was not able to progress from an Elementary to Intermediate level. For me a few consistent problems with tones and some pronunciation was holding me back. In my opinion, these problems can only be overcome through working one-on-one with a good teacher like Shan.
Over the past few months the level of my Chinese has improved greatly and I am no longer stuck. She is always prepared and was willing to work with the material that I bring rather than rigidly sticking to a standard textbook.
I recommend Shan to anyone who wants to start learning or to anyone looking to improve their level of Chinese.
