Sadly, I was disappointed with our boarding experience. I was not given honest information when I called to inquire -- the promises they made and what was actually delivered differed considerably. When we picked our dog up after a boarding, he was anxious and behaving very wildly, it took three days to get him back to normal and much of his training needed to be re-established. Most importantly, we sent the exact amount of food he would require during his stay, according to our instructions. When we picked him up a week later, only half of his food had been consumed. Three weeks later, when we traveled again, we boarded him at Merced Veterinary Clinic instead -- when we picked him up, he was happy, training still intact, and all his food had been appropriately consumed. Also, he was walked 2-3 times a day -- Univ. promised walks but only put him in a yard with a few other dogs every day in place of an actual walk. So no, we were very disappointed with University, and they're also the most expensive boarding and grooming place in town. We wouldn't recommend their boarding services.
