I am a former employee of countryside. I used to love it until I got to see how the don and administrator really treat their employees. All they care about is money and only the staff members that pick up extra shifts and kiss their butts. The don talks to the residents like they're babies and people get fired that are good staff over hear say yet people that call off constantly are still employees. Also the rnac was having an affair with a maintenance man and they brushed it under the rug. Hmmm. Sounds like a crappy place to me.

The Aides are very nice & caring, but the Administration leaves a lot to be desired. The food they serve is very low quality. For the past two months I have had to bring my Mother's evening meals in to her. The meals are either cold or not edible. For example baked potato that iis still hard, not cooked all the way thru, & 1 slice of meat & cheese on a sandwich. On May 22, 2012 they had a meeting with the residents, family & the staff about the food. I attended this meeting & voiced my concerns. As of today, May 28,2012 there has been no improvement at all.. I was told at the meeting I attended that they do state minimun by the Dietician. On top of that, I gave they my contact numbers, with my cell being the main contact number & an alternative number to reach me in an emergency. On May 27,2012 my Mother was admitted to the hospital. I was out of town & I was not notified at my main contact number, I didn't find out until I returned home on the evening on the 28th & the hospital called my home phone. When I called Countryside, I was told they had changed her cover sheet & deleted my main contact number. If I had known then what I know now, I would never have placed her in this facility.
