we work from the following foundational truths:- Children learn through play and the active manipulation of materials in their environment. Therefore, we structure the daily routine to provide a balance of both teacher- and child- directed activities.
- All children are unique individuals, and as such will grow and respond at their own pace. We believe the early childhood classroom should be sensitive to these individual differences, and provide all children with a rich variety of experiences.
- We believe that a child's self-esteem is a critical ingredient in the entire education process. We nurture this through the quality of relationships and adult/child interactions in the classrooms. Furthermore, we structure our environment and program to provide children with successful accomplishments, while still being challenged.
Developmentally Appropriate Practice (DAP) is the cornerstone of our philosophy. We understand how children learn and develop, and we use this knowledge to meet children where they are in the developmental continuum. We encourage them towards challenging, yet attainable goals. We know that children are active learners, and that through physically interacting with materials and people in their environment, they are literally building neural pathways in their brain.

Provided by YP.comI have taken my son to Advantage for several months now. I have always been very happy with learning and care that my child has received. The teachers have grown to be like family and have the happiness and safety of the children is their number one priority. I was astonished to see the review from John D. is a fake name used for the review and if you refer to Advantage Early Learning Center Facebook page you can see there are many inconsistencies with the story and how it was handled in a very professional manner by the director and owner. Please tour the facility to see how amazing this facility truly is.

Provided by YP.comAbsolutely worst place I have yet to go to. My son was there for maybe 2 months before we finally took him out. They called me from work at least 2-3 times per week to come pick up my son. Said he had a low grade fever (obviously teething). I asked them to give him tylenol and they would not unless I was on my way. I would get home and my sons temperature would be perfectly normal. Finally the time we decided to take him out was when my son GOT BIT ON THE EYE SOCKET by a toddler that wasn't even in his classroom. My son was 6-7 months at the time, and the kid who bit him was in the 1's & 2's room. We were told by a former worker that the kid had biting problems to begin with. There are cameras at this place, but the camera's were just mysteriously in the perfect spot not to capture the bite. When I went to go pick up my son after the biting, one of the front desk girls just handed me a packet on their ''biting policies''. No sympathy. Unprofessional as heck.,

Provided by YPmobileI've had my kids there for 4 years. Amazing loving staff and my kids are always happy at drop off and pick-up.
