I went in to get a gift certificate for a pedicure and the gal told me that they don't have a credit or debit card reader. I told her that I would run and get some cash. In less than 45 minutes later, I returned with cash in hand only to be told by a stylist that she had left for the day. Are you kidding me?! The stylist said that he could call her real quick. I told him not to bother and I walked out. And by the looks of the previous review, it might have even been the owner! LOL!

Allure Hair and Nail Salon is where I have been going for years! I love going to Christine for Nails and Lexi for Hair! Everyone in there is nice and laid back! I have never had a bad experience. Whenever someone compliments me on my hair and nails I tell them to go to Allure! My husband also gets his haircut at Allure, and likes going somewhere where they KNOW what they are doing! Thankyou Allure for making us look great!!

I am writing this review to help others avoid the problems I have had with the Allure Hair Salon. I had set appts with Mary on a couple of occasions, drove about 12 miles to the salon only to find she had another customer during my scheduled appt time. I thought I'd run an errand for 15-20 minutes and returned to find the same customer or another customer had taken my appt? In both cases, Mary chose to take a female customer instead of me which is blatant sexual discrimination. Obviously, this salon and at least one of its stylists feel women should be given precedence over men!

The fact I traveled the distance I did and then came back 20 minutes to find they have no interest in keeping their word would suggest that men in general should avoid this questionable place of business or suffer the degrading treatment I have.

Further, she never had the dececy to call me to invite me back to fulfill my appt!! Lousy customer service!!!

I am now a regular at Allure Hair & Nail Salon - located in the Idaho Fitness Center on Fairview. Christine, the owner and nail technician is as sweet as can be and after moving here a year ago - the only salon I have found that actually does real "pink and whites". I get rave compliments on my nails. Great salon and great service!
