Had a scheduled appointment for my dog to get his teeth cleaned @ banfield in the boise,Id pet smart. Took him in as scheduled. Went home cause as you know dog dental takes awhile. After a couple hours I get a call from them stating that my dog isn't healthy enough to undergo the procedure. They wouldn't give me details of why. All they said was he needed an over the counter supplement for a month and then bring him back in. And they kept recommending that i get insurance for my dog. They seemed to have no real concern for my dogs health. Just what they could sell me. But that will be a $180 for lab work and the supplement . So i went to another vet had Banfield fax my dog's lab work over and look at it they seen no problems in the lab work that would warrant my dog unfit for a dental cleaning procedure. They cleaned his teeth successfully without incident. They said they never seen a dog come out of anesthesia so quickly & with so much energy. So about $180 more and my dogs teeth are clean and he is fine. With no thanks to Banfield Pet Hospital.

This is the best place to go for a puppy check up. They are so great with the all of their animals. I know Missy really loves coming here. Thanks to everyone at Banfield.
