What a joke!



I was referred to this doctor for an injury I had and he was to perform some sort of neurological electronic shock test on my right arm and shoulder in which he did and I paid for. The test he performed showed no abnormalities and he was unable to help me. The next appointment he simply referred me to a physical therapist and scheduled another appointment with his office in 2 weeks to see how I was doing. I was also told that if the physical therapist could not help me to call and set up an appointment sooner. By the way I had to call and set up my own appointment with the physical therapist. Once the physical therapist advised me that he could not help me I called to set up another appointment of which entailed another referral to a surgeon. I was billed over $200 for two office visits that this doctor did nothing! He could have simply call me on the phone and told me to set the appointments with the physical therapist and the surgeon. I wrote to Mr. Bates on more than one occasion and ask him to be reasonable he simply could have had his office call me and that would have saved me an office visit and a 45 min trip across town.

I would not recommend this doctor to anyone, all he seems to be interested in is billable time not a diagnosis!
