Located in Meridian, Miss., West Lauderdale Elementary School is a coeducational school of more than 700 students in grades kindergarten through four. It offers a wide range of academic subjects, such as math, science, social studies, reading, writing, language art, English, computer technology, basic skills, and health and physical education. It has a parent-teacher association that provides planning and implementation of a variety of fundraising activities for the benefit of school. In addition, the school provides a cafeteria with a variety of food menus. It offers various extracurricular activities in sports, such as basketball, softball, football, and track and field. West Lauderdale Elementary School s facility houses a computer laboratory, library and a media center and is a part of the Lauderdale County School District.
