Hello, I am Mark Whiddon, owner of Whiddon Photography. We are a full time, professional photography studio located in Meridian, Mississippi. The Whiddon Family has been involved in photography for over 73 years beginning with my Father, Jim Whiddon, who was an Army Air Force photographer during WWll. After the war, along with his brother in law and partners, he helped create School Pictures, Inc. It would later become the world's largest school picture company. I attended Holmes Junior College, Mississippi State University, and the Winona School of Professional Photography. I was fortunate to be able to begin my training as a photographer under two of my uncles - Kurvis Burns in Shreveport, Louisiana and Bill Whiddon in North Little Rock, Arkansas. Over the years, I have studied under many of the nation's most well known and successful photographers.
