My fiance and I are getting married on May 17, 2014. We are wanting a barn wedding so we decided to visit Tate Farms to plan a wonderful barn wedding with them. We met with Cristall Brown and made a verbal agreement with her for 4 hours on May 17, 2014 for a certain price. She said she would e-mail me the contract for me to sign and e-mail back to her and we could pay the deposit over the phone. We never got an e-mail from her. We called several times through out the weekend to talk to her and she wouldn't answer the phone nor would she e-mail us. Finally, today April 22, she e-mailed me to inform me that the agreed price has now tripled. Needless to say, this is not okay. We had an agreement and she changed it without contacting us to discuss this price. We had already booked a venue for the reception so now because of the poor business practices of Tate Farms we are left out in the cold to find a wedding venue.
