Lisa Hays, MD, FACE, is an experienced, Board-certified endocrinologist at AdventHealth Shawnee Mission. In addition to serving as the lead physician at AdventHealth Medical Group Endocrinology at Shawnee Mission, Dr. Hays is also co-medical director of AdventHealth Medical Group. She has earned a number of professional honors throughout her career, including being named by Ingram's magazine as a 2017 Top Doctor in recognition of her compassionate and attentive approach to both patient care and clinical leadership. Dr. Hays earned her medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine. She completed both a residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in endocrinology at the University of Kansas Medical Center. She is Board-certified in internal medicine, endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism and she is a Fellow of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinology (FACE).
