Provided by YP.comI stayed here on Memorial weekend. I had called for an early check in and asked about use of a porta crib and was told that neither would be a problem. When I got there a 1/2 hour past the time they said that I could check in my room was not ready yet and the woman at the desk seemed confused about my question about the porta crib. I was given my room keys and was told that I could come back in 1/2 hour. I did a bit of running around and visiting family and came back 3 hours later. When I got into my room there was a sheet balled up in the corner of the room and the garbage had things in it. I figured that it was just a fluke and didn't complain. I set up the porta crib which was a wobbly play pen and took my kids to the pool. The pool was packed full of unsupervised teens. Apparently the hotel will sell passes for the local kids to swim. After about 20 minutes of rough housing I had to disappoint my 7 tear old and take him out of the pool for his own safety.
The other clientèle of the hotel that weekend were also very loud and disruptive so my son did not get to sleep until after 12:30 and my infant was up and down all night. The next morning I checked my bank account with my mobile banking and saw that I was charged 2 separate times for my stay. I went to the front desk and explained the situation to the clerk and was told that they just put a hold on my debit card and was looked at like I was stupid. I had to actually show the mobile banking sight to the clerk for her to understand that I was CHARGED twice, not that there was a hold on my card. The clerk then told me that I still owed 99$ for my room. The clerk then took the time to look into it and realized that I was charged twice and she ran a transaction crediting the second charge to my account. She then told me that I needed to check to make sure that it went through because most of the time they do not. That raised a red flag for me and I asked when the manager would be there or if there was an 800 number that I could call. I was then told that the manager would be there on Monday.
The next day before check out I checked my bank account and saw that the refund had not gone through so when I checked out I asked when the manager would be in. I was then told that the manager was not coming in. I explained the situation to the girl behind the counter and was once again told that it was just a hold and it happens all the time and oh yeah should we run the same card for the 99$ owed. I said no and once again tried to explain the situation, she told me that I would have to come in tomorrow when the manager was there to get it figured out. I told her no... I live 3 1/2 hours away. She then called the manager and was told to just give me the refund in cash.
Between the unclean room, the over filled unsupervised pool, the lack of volume control and the horrible customer service i will never go back to this hotel. And will tell others not to go there as well.
