Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen. My name is Garry Phillips. I live in Portage, IN. I had been dealing with back pain for several years, some days worse than others. I workout 5 days a week, so the discomfort could be very high at times. Finally I couldn't take it any longer, I had to find out what was causing the problem. So I went to see Dr. Hyder a specialist in spine surgery. after seeing the X-rays even I could see why I was having a problem. My problem wasn't from working out like so many people thought, but just from life and general breakdown of the bones in the spine. At the age of 73 at the time of my first meeting with Dr Hyder, i knew what had to be done. Both Dr. and I and my wife agreed that surgery was the answer for me. So on May 24 of 2017 I had surgery of my lower spine. The healing process went very well, I followed the instructions that were given to me, and did the rehab. tough at first but worth it in the long run. Now at the age of 74, i still workout 5 time a week, my movement is so much better than before the surgery, my strength is way better than before, no pain, great flexibility. I recommend Dr. Hyder to my friends who are having back issues, because what he does works, so glad I had the procedure done. Thank You Dr Hyder for a great job. God Bless You
