Visiting "Joy Cleaners" was not a joy at all. The wife of Mr. Lee was there and after adding up my order asked if I wanted to pre pay. I stated to her no (since on a previous order she had overcharged me and I had to wait until the credit was placed on my next order). She then asked "because of the size of the order, we will then need a deposit". Keep in mind that the order was barely over $100.00 and that I have been at this cleaners several times before. When I stated I would prefer not she then had the rudeness to state "You don't have any money?"!!!!
With that comment I politely asked her to return my clothes and that I will spend my money elsewhere.
I try and give my business to local business as I truly understand that for small businesses that they are in steep competition with larger competitors. But I choose where and how to spend my hard earned dollars, of which I went to the competitor, got my clothes cleaned well and professionally treated as a respected customer.
Will never give business to this establishment again.

Christie was a great...4 weeks out til my event and was able to alter dress and change out zipper....Highly recommend this place.

About minimum charges on credit cards. Credit card companies charge fees to businesses. That's why some only do a minimum. And don't worry about going back. They seem to have gone out of business. Took my pants so they could fix the hem that came apart and doors locked. Wasn't any sign or anything on the doors.

Thought I would try this place out since I moved and it's closer to me then my old place. I got a blazer cleaner for $6.75 and they won't accept debit/credit unless it's a $10 min. Therefore I had to leave and wasn't able to get my blazer until I withdrew the cash. My former place never had a minimum for credit! Therefore I'll be going back to my former cleaner...
