Ed Wartman is your Stereotypical scumbag lawyer who has no problem taking advantage of a single mother! I Went to him in June of LAST YEAR and my case still is not resolved because he didn't file the paper work! No matter how many times you call him he WILL NOT call you back or answer any of his emails! DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT hire this guy...you will regret it!

Edward Wartman took on a case. The judge ruled in my favor 3 months ago. However, Mr.Wartman has not returned any of my calls even though I leave messages with his secretary. The courts are still waiting on paper work that he was suppose to turn in. Do NOT hire him as your lawyer, it's a waste of time and money. I'm out of $1,000 and still nothing.

This guy Edward Wartman is a fraud! DO NOT SEEK ANY LEGAL ADVICE FROM HIM. I consulted him on a bankruptcy, paid a 200.00 deposit even though the consultation is supposed to be FREE! Did my pre-counseling certification the very next day and I did not hear from him or his office until 2 weeks later! Which I had to call and get in contact with him mind you! Then he tells me I need to schedule an appointment to bring more money in & he will have one of his secretary's call me. Never received one phone call! After several emails & calls to his office with promises from his secretaries that he would return my call, which he never did by the way, I finally decided to go somewhere else! After finally getting a hold of him, he tells me basically there will not be much left of my deposit which he did absolutely nothing for me! He is a complete ripoff and sleazy lawyer! BEWARE!!!

I hired Mr. Edward Wartman to do a chapter 13 bankruptcy for me and I had an absolutely horrible experience. He suggested that I hurry up to file and once he had all of my money, he became very hard to reach. His office screens calls for him. I didnt include all of my creditors and was advised I could add them later with no problem. Mr. Wartman didnt let me know that he was going to charge me per creditor (he quoted $300 for one additional creditor) later and stated "Well, I cant do it for free". His business practices are horrible and since there are so many other attorneys out there, take your time and choose wisely. It will be worth it in the long run. He lacks customer service and professionalism.

As his client, I have had unpleasant experiences with Edward Wartman from Merrillville Indiana. He has missed several appointments without prior notice. He attempted to obtain a higher retainer fee than originally agred upon and ultimately accomplished absolutely nothing with my legal matter.
