Great experience with the Doctor and staff. My family and I have been happy there for years. I recommend this office to everyone!

Very upset and disappointed!

I am so disappointed with the service I have received. Linda said she would call to let me know when the hygienist would be in then I would have to have an impression to fit my permanent teeth. I explained I would be away the whole month of July. Needless to say I NEVER GOT A CALL! Now I'm out of town. Perfect Fit Dental wanted their money before they completed the work. I paid and even when a lower partial broke I was charged for it eventhough the dentist said it broke because it was hitting one of my teeth. Which meant it did not fit right. I am so upset over the service I have received that I'm going to make sure I don't recommend Perfect Fit Dental to my friends and colleagues. I belong to 3 chambers of commerce in Brevard County and I am going to report the kind of service I've received.

Common Theme, cancels appointments and they just say he is sick. He did not complete the work I paid for in advance and reporting has made no difference. My only option is to sue him. Watch out for Linda office manager, she is spiteful if you tell her you no longer believe the doc is sick after 5 cancellations. Not one of the good guys.

This was the worst experience of my life. I am not kidding when I say that. Mathews gave me a few shots to get started, The roof of my mouth was not so numb from the gel, I felt like I was going to come out of my skin! After a few minutes He walked in and placed his fingers on my neck- checking my pulse-(Weird and freaky- I have been to many dentists and NEVER has that happen, but I'm in the chair)

He stood behind me and literally rocked my front 4 teeth out with the pliers, Told me to "Resist him" as he was cranking my head up and down, he was very forceful- not gental at ALL. Where most dentists are discreet with seeing the 'tools' he was not. He broke off my molar, it hit the light that hangs over the chair and hit the floor. The 'assistant' held what should of been your swishing cup- to put my broken teeth in. (I did not get to 'swish and spit') after the 9 teeth were pulled, he put in the denture and walked away.

Yeah NO HOLD THE GAUZE TO STOP/SLOW THE BLEEDING.The 45 minute ride home was bad. The blood was dripping out the back and sides- that didn't need to happen. (Sorry, it's gross, but it's the truth.) The jerking around in the chair caused a major migraine- unnecessary TRAUMA to my gums- not to mention waking up with real nightmares because of it. Like I said I was their to get 9 teeth out- meaning the others have already been pulled, so I knew what to expect, I thought.

Even tho making it thru the night with the bad head ache, I had to go i the next day- post op- (They had cancelled my appointment so many time before, I didn't want to prolong getting this over with.) When I went into the same little stall that I was in the morning before- there on the floor was the same blood spot that my tooth made the day before....yep.

There were other reviews like mine, that have been removed- I did not put one here but on google so if people looked him up they could be warned. All the reasons that people don't want to go to the dentist, this is the guy who fulfilled them all for me. Please, go somewhere else. The staff is ok, but are doing things that really seem over reaching. I would hope that no person would ever have to endure this. This happen to me 2010. As of 2012 dealt with "Parts that broke off that are working there way out" which is NORMAL they said.

Got a very swift refund when I finally got to see the dentist for the first time 4 weeks post surgery, after four visits for pain ,and only given appointments with his assistants (and surrendering my bottom dentures). He also did offer to remake the bottom denture, but I decided to go elsewhere where the actual dentist is more involved in the post surgical care process. (16 extractions) I kept my uppers so I was not offered( nor received) a refund for those. The dentures themselves were esthetically pleasing and am very pleased with the dentist and his work. I feel his assistants were working outside their scope of practice and I don't think the dentist himself was actually aware of this.

UPDATE:

Many have questioned how am I doing now! Thanks to all!

After loosing 16 teeth, which had been a part of my body for 65 years, I feel I didn't get the empathy I deserved from his assistants/techs. I was told over and over again by these assistants/techs to "remember that these were only temporary dentures and I would be getting new ones in 6 months once my gums healed" (by this assistants not by the dentist) and I needed to be patient. No one should be in pain (pain...not discomfort.....that long.

Don't go there, and change you...

Don't go there, and change your dentist. He canceles most of his appointments, and he's only open 3 days a week. When customers make an appointment with the dentist, it's because they're in pain and need help with their teeth, not to just cancel because he's sick.. Everyday for months? I think he needs to get help from another dentist, if he isn't going to be there that day...

I was afraid of Dentists until I met Dr. Matthew

The entire staff made me feel right at home! I felt at ease. Dr. Matthews expertise in advising me the right treatment plan has actually changed my life! Everytime someone comments on my smile I think of Perfect Fit! And the prices were soooo affordable. Everytime I visited another denists I thought it was too much money and I was embarassed.

Thank you so much,

Robin
