My husband and I were in Mesa, AZ around February 2012. We went to Denny's for breakfast. There was a black man named John who was the friendliest wait person I have ever seen. He was joking with us and just as pleasant as could be with all the customers. Some of them were probably regulars and I could see why they would keep coming back to the Denny's because he made all his customers feel special. I asked one of the waitresses if he was always so upbeat and she said yes. Sometimes when she came in to work she was upset about something and she would be around him for a few minutes and she forgot what she was upset about. He obviously loved his job. We went to Denny's the next morning just to see him again and it must have been his day off because he wasn't there. I meant to write this as soon as I got home to MN but I forgot. I just wanted you to know what a wonderful waiter your restaurant has in John. Sincerely Sharleen H.
