We highly recommend Dolphin Air & Oscar Mendez for any heating & A.C.repair work or especially installing a new A.C. Unit. He installed a new unit for us in Dec. 2011. They did some prep. work one day & then completed the job the next day. Oscar Mendez has knowledge & skill of the process. He was efficient & neat, cleaning up after the work was done. Dolphin Air 's quote was $150-200 more than the other businesses I contacted for quotes, and the final repair done by an honest company was more than 150 dollars cheaper. Oscar, Dolphin's repair man, had also told me it was a four hour job, which required $100 an hour. The actual repair took less than one hour for the other company's men to complete.

Oscar was polite and friendly, but his quote was not in line with what the other AC companies listed with the BBB's quotes were. In addition his estimation of how long the job should take was 4X longer than the realistic amount of time.



I paid a $45 dollar service charge to have my intelligence insulted.

Dolphin Air installed a new split system heat pump at my home in December 2010. They arrived on time and worked steadily in the cold, finishing the install of both the outdoor and indoor units in the same day. The old air handler, in the attic, had to be dismantled and removed in pieces through the small attic hatch. I forced them to stop for a lunch break at about 2 PM. When the job was finished, they cleaned everything up--indoors and out, nice and tidy. The new system is working very well, and I am enjoying the programmable thermostat too. They provided a complete set of paperwork and it is in good order.

I called Dolphin for a service call, and they showed up when they said they would be here, and charged what they said they would. Oscar was great. I recommend Dolphin Air Conditioning.
