Mesa location at Baseline and Country club drive. The MRI process is OK. I am not concerned about tight spaces but the lady tech has no clue about how to inject contrast in to your veins. My very recent experience resulted in what the tech called missing my vein because I jumped. I jumped because she literally and quickly harpooned my arm missing the vein. I was all tight in the apparatus that holds your neck still and my arm was straight by my side. Kind of hard to pull away from an object going in to your arm with out dislocating your shoulder to do so. In other words she blew it and wanted to blame me. Anyone who has ever had blood drawn or an IV inserted in a vein knows that the people knowing their business and caring about you and what they are doing will slowly insert it and not blast it in there like a rocket.. Heck yes It hurt to say the least when she stabbed me and then of course I jumped. Funny how inept like the Insight lady tech tend to blame others for their lack of skills and know how or maybe she does not like men or is pissed at her boss. My son said it was probably close to lunch and she had a date. I fear for anyone who has to be or will be exposed to this lady MRI tech at the Mesa imaging on Country club drive and Baseline. She is a butcher in my personal experienced opinion. When she missed the vein she then probed around with the needle still in my arm. That hurt for sure. Then she pulled the needle out of my right arm and proceeded to try the other arm. Knowing this I stopped the entire thing and ran for my life. My doctor would have to do with just the MRI without contrast. He would have preferred it with contrast. I spoke with my ENT this morning 8/20 but he was able to get what he needed from the plain MRI and fully understood my position. He was also informed about exactly what had happened, where and when and the outcome. This was Friday 8/17/12 when the disaster happened with the shot. All last weekend my right elbow ached and was really uncomfortable. I believe the lady shot my elbow joint full of the contrast stuff. I had spoken with the office manager on Friday to express my total dis-satisfaction and what had happened. I again called to follow up on Monday 8-20-12. Again spoke with the office manager. I explained to her about how my elbow had felt all weekend. And the fact I never signed anything authorizing the use of any injections. I am wondering how that will be handled. Personally i would fire the inept tech. She's dangerous and obviously has no clue about what she is paid to do. She has no feeling for those in pain. Just worries about her own issues. I left one star because that's the lowest there is. I would recommend anywhere but this location unless you are a fan of pain and inept MRI people.
