I get a sick feeling every time I pass this restaurant

The food was soft and mushy and lacked flavor. It wasn't the fresh Chinese food I'm used to eating.

Great Chow Mein

I happened on this restaurant by chance, and took my beautiful wife to check it out.

I would have to say that the food is tasty. The egg drop and Won ton soup are good. They broth is thick and satisfying with just the right saltiness. The egg rolls are good, but I wouldn't go out of my way to get them here. The pressed Almond Duck was a bit dry, but lets get to the Chow Mein. I love their Chow Mein. Hot and yummy. Service is good, and the food came fast, hot and moist.

Now the parts I didn't like. 1. I dislike it when I can't communicate with the waiter (owner I think) enough to order my dinner. I mean all I wanted to say was my wife wants SOFT NOODLES! And he just couldn't understand. I don't remember how we finally got it across to him, but it was a circus. The atmosphere is not wonderful but not bad either. The decor looks old and used.

The good news is even with the distractions I like this restaurants food enough to give it a go ahead and try it.

Cheers
