I temporarily moved in with my sister to save money, so I rented out a storage room with Uhaul to my 1 bedroom apartment items, minus my bed and some clothes. I somehow was late on my monthly rental payment with Uhaul. In return, Uhaul auctioned off all my storage without any notice. I contacted Uhaul on numerous occasions and even went to their office requesting to speak with the store Manager and Regional VP to no avail.

After sharing my situation, I was referred to Legal shield. After I enrolled, I was able to contact my local Law Firm the same day to submit my case. After speaking to a lawyer and submitting some documents to support my claim, within 30 days not only did I hear from the Uhaul Manager, but they agreed to settle with me out of court for my loss of goods.
