Provided by YP.comThe previous reviews must have been before this complex changed management or owners. I lived at Country Club from November 2010 thru November 2011. From day 1, I had problems getting maintenance to fix anything. I would call the office to request service, and they would never show up. 3 weeks after I moved in, a neighbor came over to inform me that someone had been in her apartment and stolen some items from her purse, but didn't take the whole purse. The odd thing was, her windows were found unlocked, and she claimed that she never unlocked them. I thought, oh her friend must have taken something from her and won't fess up. She ended up moving bc of not feeling safe.
In April of 2011, I was asleep in my room and someone came into my apartment and stole my large flat panel tv, my laptop and my purse. They did not make one noise until leaving the apartment...they stepped on a grocery bag. I got up and checked to see what the noise was. I found my tv gone, my laptop and my purse. I found the front door and the back door both completely unlocked. I feel that it was an inside job, there was no sign of forced entry and I heard NOTHING. The apartment manager had no sympathy or care about what happened. I later find out that there have been many, many break-ins in the complex, one with a tenant being held at gunpoint. Management would not let me out of my lease and gave no support or effort to secure the premises further. there are no security cameras or monitoring on the grounds, except for I guess the main office area.
The amenities are ridiculous. They boast about the quantity of pools that they have, but only 1 is working in the summer. They won't fix problems in the apartments, and they wont fix their supposed amenities either. Their plumbing is old and they refuse to replace the pipes. In February 2011, a water pipe burst in my storage closet at 2am due to freezing weather. We were up all night, clearing out the closet and I lost a lot of treasured items due to the water damage. Again, it was a chore to get maintenance to fix the problem.
Water was turned off daily, the entire year that I lived there. The excuse was always that a major leak was being repaired and it should be off for no longer than 15 more minutes. It would not come back on for hours. On thanksgiving day 2011, we found that the hot water was not working. I called emergency maintenance line and the answering service told me, you're lucky you have water at all, most are calling with no water on. I said, someone needs to fix this, I need to give my baby a bath before we go to our family gatherings. The lady told me, it won't be fixed today, or tomorrow either. Probably not until Monday.
All in all, I HATED my living experience there. I chose them because they really seemed to be a great place to live, when I viewed the apartments. When I moved there, it was a different story, and I would not recommend them to anyone. Too much crime, shady people, domestic violence problems, and management that does not care for their tenants. I read 2 bad reviews of this place before I moved there and thought, those were just disgruntled tenants. I was wrong. I am typically very easy-going, but some things cannot be tolerated. I hope that this review helps you decide whether or not to try this place out. Never again....I give it one star because it will not post my review without it.

Provided by YP.comI have friends living here and they are very happy. They say the management are good and things get fixed in a hurry. The rent is good too.
