This moving company is running a scam!!

I contracted this moving company to move my household goods from Forney to Wyoming.

I paid Cruz and Son Movers $3250.00 two weeks prior "to reserve the date".

When the date arrived, Cruz and Son Movers did not. Mr. Cruz offered numerous excusses but did not honor his contract.

I asked for a return of my deposit. Mr Cruz stated he spent the deposit and could not return it. I offered to allow him to earn part of the deposit by loading a truck I rented. Again he never showed up.
Beware!! Beware!! Beware!! Beware!! Beware!

I tried finding a way to write a review on MovingHelp but couldnt find it so I hope this helps. My wife scheduled a 2 hour load and unload and we were not ready but she scheduled it anyways. They were always professional, had a great sense of humor and didnt complain about the extra work they had to do. It was a 5 hour job and were told it was 2 hour job, they told me, "We are going to stay until you are taken care of" If I had to move every weekend i'd call them. Great crew.

Shaun and his crew were amazing throughout our entire move! Shaun called me multiple times to confirm our plans for moving day which was very reassuring .They showed up right on time and moved everything in a timely manner. Shaun went above and beyond what we expected and came back to make sure the job had been completed to our satisfaction. I would highly recommend shaun and his crew to anyone looking for help moving.

Awesome movers! I had to reschedule my move 3 times the same day due to closing delays. Shaun was patient and willing accommodate on short notice. Staff was professional and moved very quickly. Highly recommend and would use again!

These guys were great. They took great care with my items. After my other movers didn't show these guys saved the day! I would definitely recommend these guys to anyone planning to move.

Shaun and his crew helped me move apartments within the same building on a very short notice (less than 2 days). They facilitated a smooth move by being careful with fragile items and ensuring that furniture is placed according to my instructions. In addition, they disassembled and reassembled a stubborn corner table. Both Shaun and TJ are strong, obviously, they were able to carry heavy objects diligently.

I also liked the fact that Shaun was in touch with me before arriving to understand the move and finalizing the quote so that no time is wasted doing so during or after the move. It was a hassle free move. I would definitely recommend this crew for your moving need.
