I had a guy from a different fence company come out (liberty fence) and give me an estimate of $100 on what needed to be done. Heartland took the information given and said $175. I told Ryan Bates (from Heartland Fence) that I would like to have it done cheaper. He said "Cheap isn't quality, and quality isn't cheap." If you are like me, and millions of other consumers out there, you ask... "Why not?" Why can't I get good quality for a cheap price? If I went out and bought all the same materials, it would have costed me WAAAAY less to fix it myself, so essentially all I am REALLY paying for is someone's time. Quality is cheap, it is someone's time that isn't cheap. Then again there is that old addage "You get what you pay for". I told Liberty Fence to come out and fix the fence- then never saw or heard from them again. So I went ahead and asked Ryan from Heartland Fence to come on out. (It was super hard finding many companies that would come out to my area in Forney.) So Ryan comes out, he is a super nice, straight forward guy- he got right to work and got everything taken care of. The quality of the work proves good so far- he made everything nice and level- which the next windstorm will put it to the test, but I would have to say the extra I paid for his time and quality was money well spent.
