Stay away from these people

American Home Shield will send these people out to your home. First time my hot water heat and they try to get me for $350 extra didn't work because i call american shield and it was not true so i didn't have to pay. Then a my tub they try to get me for $60 extra call american shield and i didn't have to pay that. Now my toilet it was not cover by american shield but he told me they wouldn't buy another toilet and but he never said or wrote on my order he was charging me $100 to pull one in he just wrote on my order customer will buy toilet and call when she get toilet.... now he come in pull the toilet in and said that a $100. He could even show on my order where he said it would $100. They walk in your home and do work and try to charge you what they want. I will be reporting them to BBB. Not only are we not renewing our home warranty with AHS, we demanded they send a different plumber to fix what this company did not want t

The plumber that came out to fix a gas leak (sent by American Home Shield) said it would be "a lot of work" and was not thrilled with the prospect. He then could not get the gas meter taken apart to test the system and said I had to call the gas company - who was here in less than 5 minutes. In fact, I watched the plumber drive off just as the gas man was knocking on my door! Was it too much to ask that the plumber stick around and do the job he was hired to do while the gas man was here to help him? Then the gas man got the meter apart with just a simple turn of the wrench - I watched him do it! I could have done that! But the plumber couldn't!!! Then, the plumber did not have time to come back for 2 days. When Thursday rolled around, I called to find out where they were and was told we were not on the schedule and the earliest they could get here was MONDAY because the work required a city permit and inspection. No heat, no hot water, no stove - and they think it is OK for us to wait until Monday - possibly Tuesday for inspection - when the low temps will be in the upper 20s? Are you kidding me? Not only are we not renewing our home warranty with AHS, we demanded they send a different plumber to fix what this company did not want to fix.

Although the repair guy was prompt and courteous, I would not recommend this company. Extremely overpriced for services...will never recommend to any customers. This company needs to re-evaluate it's pricing structure, and instead of trying to keep up with larger companies, offer better pricing.

we used this company through are home waranty company and they we honest it was the home warranty co that kept lying to us they would say something was ready and it it was not even order Premier did a great job in finally get it resolved I am kepting them but droped the warranty..

I had priced water heaters and the costs to install them before allowing Pipe Down to do the work. I actually saved $765 dollars by going with them. All the companies I contacted had charges for a normal install, which as it turns out, mine was not. I needed alot of work to get my heater to pass an inspection ( City REQUIRED ) which I hated, but I will not get into the City of Desoto and the inspection process. Regardless of whom I choose to have install my hot water heater, I needed these things taken care of. James was prompt, clean and explained everything in depth on the process and why it was needed. I will definitely us them again even when my American Home Shield policy is complete.
