I'm a Plato's Closet frequent shopper and this Store is very clean and organized. Selection was great and staff was very friendly.

This is such an awesome store! I love a good deal AND a good find! SUPER organized and the staff is so friendly! If you are looking for top teen brands and affordable clothing, come to this place!

They are very rude and unprofessional!

At Plato's Closet Mesquite we make every effort to ensure a great customer experience. We are constantly coaching our staff on excellent customer service practices and take action when feedback from customers is received.



At Plato’s Closet our buyers simply inspect the clothing and then enter everything into the computer system. As you may know, we purchase gently used items so our computer system prices everything based off of the fact that it IS gently used and by condition and brand, it does not recognize that a shirt has only been worn once or never for that matter. But I can understand how you would be frustrated since you just purchased that shirt, however we pay 30%-40% of what we can sell it for. So at that point you have to decide if you want to let it go for that or wear it some more.



I’m sorry you were embarrassed by some comments regarding some items you sold to us. I know that was not our buyers intention but more just recognizing why they were passing on the items. I will definitely be talking to them and remind them to be sensitive and discrete, I appreciate you notifying us about this. I got $1 for an Aeropostale shirt I got just a week ago that didn't fit me. I saw people walk in there with tons of clothes and only get maybe $10. They are VERY RUDE! The material in some of the shirts I wore made me sweat more and caused slight stains that I didn't notice... the girl working there held up EVERY shirt with those sweat stains and said as loudly as she could "There's a SWEAT STAIN HERE AND HERE AND HERE". I was humiliated. Never coming back. These snotty little brats need to be taught some manners and professionalism.
