Great company!!! My call was answered promptly. I was given plenty of choices. Roof was replaced in 1 day. The roof turned out beautiful and Mr. Will and his crew were courteous & kind.

I see these other reviews and think that some people are just very difficult and you can't please everyone. I had Fleur de Lis Roofing do a few roofs for me starting after Katrina and send all my referrals to them still. Mr Wright is a stand up guy who backs his work. If he's ever had a problem, it's been fixed with no questions. Maybe some people are just unreasonable and looking for handouts? Also, he treats his employees well and they all like working for him which says a lot!

I contracted with William Wright, owner of Fleur de Lis Roofing on July 13, 2011 to repair a leak in the flat portion of roof over my carport, as well as a few other minor roofing repairs. Since July, Mr. Wright has sent repairmen to my residence but has failed to fix the primary issue which is the leaking carport. His representative removed a satellite dish and replaced a few missing shingles on the rear of the house, and coated the flat roof with a sealant that is supposed to prevent future leaks. In August, 2011, Mr. Wright requested payment ($875) as he assured me the leak had been repaired. However, the roof continues to leak with any significant rainfall. I have contacted Mr. Wright after every rainfall in September, October and November only to be told "someone will be coming to take another look." During the week of November 7, 2011, I contacted Mr. Wright once again as the leak was still apparent. He scheduled a time to meet me at my home to investigate the leak on Friday, November 11, 2011 at 3pm. I called Mr. Wright at 3:20, as he had not arrived. He has not answered any of my calls on Friday November 11 or Monday November 14, 2011. I understand a portion of my payment was for the satellite removal, replacement shingles and coating, but I believe I am entitled to a significant amount of my $875 back as the contracted repairs are not complete.

I wish I had seen this review before we had decided to go with FDL Roofing and with Mr. Wright himself. We experienced similar problems. They damaged our gutters by placing plywood against them and using it as a ramp to walk up. They also never came back to clean up and finish some items we complained about after they had collected the final payment. Mr. Wright also tried to squeeze more money out of us after telling us that he promised the job would not go a dime over the proposal--which already had increased from the amount he originally verbally quoted us. We refused to pay any additional fees, because for one how can I be certain how much plywood was used on my job? My proposal doesn't state any numbers, just how much each sheet would be. It also states that I am not responsible for 'excess' material ordered as it belongs to FDL. SO I have no idea what was ordered or used on my job. All I know is this past weekend my roof began to leak and it's only 6 months old. When we contacted Mr. Wright he informed us that he would gladly come and fix it once we paid in full. Funny thing is I have copies of 3 checks which in accordance to my signed proposal confirm that I did indeed pay in full. Looks like I will have to get in touch with an attorney, the BBB, or perhaps the news about Mr. Wright's shady practices. This time I won't back down till he actually competes everything that he was supposed to the first time around!! He's messed with the wrong person this time around!

Fleur de Lis Roofing co. owner Billy Wright put a roof on our house after Katrina. We chose this company because they were local. That was the biggest mistake of out life. After our new roof was put on we had more roof leaks than before. When we contacted Mr. Wright he cursed us and stated he did not believe we had leaks. Why in the world would we lie? We had proof of the damage and he did not care. We had to contact 6 on your side to get help with this matter. He changed his attitude real fast when he thought he was going to be on TV. He agreed to fix the roof and to replace all the gutters on our home his workers damaged. Well he repaired the roof in a timely fashion, but when it came to the gutters he returned to his beligerant ways and stated he had no intention of replacing my gutters . He stated they were not new so he seen no reason to do so. Mr. Wright came on my property and caused damage to my property and I am sure that is against the law. I am not through with Mr. Wright and I will make sure no other homeowner falls victim to this man and his so call roofing Co. Mr. Wright you will never forget me, I am not the type of woman to be intimidated by any man and when I pay for services I expect them to be done professionally and thoroughly. I would rate you 0 but I don't have that option.
