Not pleased at all ! My 16 year old daughter went in this shop and the staff allowed her to spend $795.00 on a dress that clearly DOSENT fit! Prom is tomorrow so tailoring is not an option. I would think that making a sale, and getting a commission, would not trump a respectful & professional decision to not " up sell" / "sell a bad fitting dress " to a 16 year old young lady. She was without the assistance, or prescence, of her parents, or another adult. At her age, she is not experienced enough to know when its appropirate to spend $ 795.00 on a dress or clearly even define a 'good fitting' dress. She was clouded by the glam of the moment and glitz of a SherriHill dress . Shame on you Pearls Place ! Your 'professional staff' should know better!!!!

PLEASE, PLEASE READ THIS!!!! Before going to pearls place, I had read a bunch of negative reviews and still decided to give them a try. Worse decision in my wedding planning that I have ever made. The business is unprofessional to say the least. I decided to purchase my bridesmaids dresses and my reception dress for my November wedding of this year. It has been nothing but issues. The lady who does the measurements for the dresses measured my girl completely wrong! which in turn mead the dresses too big and had to be altered severly taking away from the quality of the dresses. They gave us a deadline of spet 1st to get our dresses altered. that didn't work out. We have taken off of work and gone on weekends to be told they couldn't take us. The do not make appointments for alterations, its first come first serve. We do not live close so it's a bit of a drive. The do not assign you an consultant, you have to find whichever one is available at the time. They don't have anyone letting you know what area is what, so you stand in an always long line and wait for an half hour to speak to someone only to find out you have to go to another side and do it all over again. The staff and management are rude. On several occasions of waiting my turn to be helped, i was overlooked. EVERYTIME. to put icing on this dress disaster, while altering one of my girls dresses, the seamstress automatically starts cutting then asked how i wanted the dresses altered. She had the nerve to catch an attidude once I told her how i wanted it,wasn;t what she had done already. Mind you, i was in the dressing room when she was cutting my girls dress. The time and aggravation defintely isn't worth it.

I order my bridal gown at Pear...

Worst Experience EVER!!! I order my bridal gown at Pearl's. They do have a great selection but everything else is horrible. I was so unsatisfied in more ways than one. Let's start from the beginning: The color I wanted they did not have in my size & because my parents paid for my dress in full there was nothing they could do :( When the dress came in it was not a slight bit to big, it was HUGE!!! I had it altered 4 times & I still brought it home with me & took it to a local alteration store to fix. Basically they have the most excuses in the book. Everything you say they deny or give an excuse. You can't tell them anything. During one of my fittings, as I was putting on my dress I noticed there was make up on it & I am not a girl that wears makeup everyday. It was just one thing after another. My dress still needed an inch taking in according to my new seamstress but the seamstress at Pearl's who needs to learn to speak clear English got the manager of Pearl's to come speak to me & she even proclaimed that becasue the dress fits I can now feel everything since I was complaining about bulges. Horrible, Horrible, Horrible!!! Do NOT waste your time & research bridal boutiques before creating an unforgetable moment!!!

Horrible, snobby customer service!

I bought a beautiful bridesmaids dress from this place and paid over $300. It was a rush order b/c the wedding was planned quickly. My first clue that this place is awful should have been as soon as the consultant showed me where the dresses were and than completely disappeared. I had several to try on and couldn't figure out how to get into a few of them. My mom had to go track her down, after waiting about 20 minutes, and ask her to come help us! I went for my alterations a few weeks ago and was told to pick it up on May 26th. I arrived five minutes after it opened and there were already six people ahead of me so I couldn't try it on in the store b/c I had to go to work. I tried it on over the weekend and it is beautiful except the length in the back. It is way too "trainy" for a bridesmaid dress and does not fall right on the ground. I called today and spoke to the most rude, snobby girl I have ever had the displeasure of communicating with. I realize that I don't have a lot of time so I asked her if they could hem the back of the dress or if I had to try to find somewhere else. She was very very rude and tried telling me that "well thats how the dress is supposed to be." She said "I guess you can bring it tomorrow and see what the seamstress says." I said "thank you" and she made some kind of sigh and than hung up.

I can not believe that these people treat their customers with such disrespect. I have heard horror stories about this place. I truly believe that the staff comes on here and writes rave reviews.

The thing is...I may have given them money for this dress but I will not be a return customer nor will anyone I know who asks for recommendations. You would think that they would be smart enough to realize that good customer service brings back customers.

service with a frown :(

Nice place, nice dresses, HORRIBLE service. An attitude adjustment all around for the employees there. They come off as stuck up and rude. You can have the nicest place possible, but if the service is bad, repeat customers will come few and none between. I recommend going anywhere else for your needs, I've had better service at a fast food restaurant.
