I noticed Harris septic service in the area and flagged him down late on a Friday evening and I'm sure he was ready to be done for the day. Rich gave me advice on how to fix the vent on our septic system. We then told him that we were needing our tanks pumped ( we have 2). He told us to contact the woodford county health Dept as they might have the location of the tanks. Sure enough the health Dept sent us the paperwork they had on our skeptics and we started digging. Several days later we called Rich back and told him we were now ready to get the tanks pumped. He came by the next day on time as promised and about 1 hour later he was done. He even told us that it was possible to put in a riser so that we wouldn't have to dig down so far next time. He recommended a place in eureka where he gets some of his supplies from. We installed the riser and lid the following day and filled in the hole. Anytime I called Rich he was more than willing to answer my questions. A true professional

Couldn't agree more with the previous review...What a great guy! Rich Harris is the guy you want if your looking for professional service at a great price. We have a Multi Flow system which contain about thirty filter socks, so pumping these systems take a little more effort and time. Rich pumped/sucked out each filter separately, a job other services I called would not or could not do because they didn't have the equipment to do it. My neighbor and I got together and got ours done at the same time and got a small price break. I know who we'll have back in two years! Great job Rich!

What a great guy! Sunday late morning we discover we have sewer back up in our basement. I call Harris Septic System that was listed in the book and offered emergency service. All the while thinking that's is going to cost us. I reached the owner operator Rich Harris. He listen to what I had to say then began asking me different questions tring to figure out what was really going on. He was not sure I needed a clean out but said he would come out and see if he could do anything for us. Once here he was able to free the clog then asked if we wanted to go ahead and clean out the tank. We did. He explained to me who has no knowledge about these things. Took time to make sure I understood. When he was done I took a deep breathe as he handed me the bill. Even with the emergency call rate it was less than we paid a few years ago to another company who was in and out on regular business hours and did not care two hoots. Rich is a very honest business man. Thank you it was nice to do busy with him. I will recommend and use him again in the future.

Since I only heard from the plumber that he couldn't come at 7pm, I was really getting worried and called Rich around 8pm, he listened to the problem and said he would come to take a look. He got here in 30 mins, and started to check the issue. He was patiently explaining the problem to me, prompt and professional. I just couldn't say enough nice things about him. And he left our house about 945pm.



This is the guy to go for any septic problem. He is a great guy and deserves more business.
