Metamora High School has an enrollment of more than 1,000 students in grades nine through 12. Its curriculum includes a variety of subjects, such as English, social sciences, mathematics, vocational and technical education, foreign languages, and physical and special education. Its athletic department offers various sports activities, including wrestling, baseball, basketball, cheerleading, football, golf, soccer, tennis, track and volleyball. The school has a library and media center that offers Internet access, books and magazines and reference materials to students. The extracurricular activities offered by the school include newspaper, student council, the National Honor Society, yearbook, and drama and science clubs. The school is located in Metamora, Ill., and is affiliated with the Metamora Township High School District.
