Lovely place to dine or take out strictly Caribbean style mix of Trini Guyanese food..especially in this area you do not find such food its a blessing to know you found comfort in Breezes Cafe..Curries at its best...black pepper shrimp iis a delight and don't forget the famous chicken patties, mauby, and sorrel...lovely staff great food

Great service-Donna & Grace are attentive & delightful. I love Caribbean food- the stewed chicken, jerk chicken & jerk shrimp was scrumptious. 1 of my new fav spots. Great ambiance- having dimmed lights & music playing in the background is a nice touch. BYOB. Cute outdoor seating area too, although my group dined inside.My guest said the cocoa bread could've been a little sweeter, cabbage was ok, and men said they wanted a little more food on their plates. However, I was full for sure.

I recently found out about Breezes in Metuchen and I wish I had known about such good Caribbean food so close to my home sooner. The food is spicy and tasty and will not disappoint your taste buds. The chef came out to greet us and make sure all was well, which was a nice touch. DNA'S music performed the evening we were there and put on a good show.

Breezes provides an refreshing option for those of us tired of Italian, Chinese, Indian and other more typically offered cuisines in the suburbs. Outdoor dining, BYOB and delicious food adds to the reasons to go to Breezes. The whole red snapper was perfectly prepared and the island spiced salmon was not spicy but well seasoned and served with nicely prepared veggies.

It's great having a Caribbean Food restaurant that serves a good variety of tasty food and treats. The staff is very friendly. The cook and owner are very down to earth and always talks to the patrons. I will keep coming back

This is my third visit to Breezes and it won't be the lastThe music and ambience are very relaxing. The staff are extremely attentive and willing to please. The coconut bread and plaintains are delicious. My favorite entree: oxtail with limas.

I've dined at Breeze's twice. The ambience was warm and inviting. During both visits, there was live music, which I love. My appetizer, entree and dessert choices were delicious. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. What more can one ask for!

Breezes in Metuchen, NJ is the place to go for great Caribbean cuisine in a warm and welcoming atmosphere...the owner, chef and staff all take a personal touch in ensuring that you have a great meal, whether you dine in or take out. We have enjoyed each time we've visited and the Sunday Brunch? Delicious! Come out and enjoy a taste of the Caribbean!

Breezes is one of my favorite restaurants both for dine I and takeout. The seasonal Cream of Pumpkin is fantastic, as is the Shrimp & Corn Chowder. Ever time I go I order something new and I haven't been disappointed yet. Breezes is like eating eating in a upscale family home, relaxed yet classy. The service follows suit. Service is friendly, prompt and attentive. I would and do recommend Breezes to any and all of my friends.

We've been aware of Breezes for some time but finally had the chance to try it. It was an overall 10. We went with friends and everyone was equally pleased. My wife and I have been to other Caribbean restaurants and usually are disappointed by the lack of menu choices or lack of attention to decor. Breezes scores high on all; Food, Selection, Decor and the warmest service we have had across every type of restaurant we patronize. Hard to pick a best dish but you MUST try the jerk...simply the best!

We finally had the chance to visit and so glad we did. Staff and dish were great. Best oxtail dish I had in awhile! Love the coconut bread. Will definitely come back again!

I have enjoyed going to this place many times, even at smaller location. Friendly service, great food, good portions and you can byob and take your time. Nice background music "takes you away" too. Don't hesitate to go.

I love going to local business' in my town. I wish I went to Breezes sooner. It is clean, friendly and inviting. The food is always good! You must give it a try!! **chicken curry lunch is my favorite and especially love the plantains!

Recently had Take Out from Breezes, food was fresh and so good!!!

I have been going to the restaurant since it opened and I am never disappointed. The food is always fresh made, consistent and delicious! My favorites are the Black Pepper Shrimp and the homemade coconut bread.
