Mexico High School offers a curriculum for students in grades nine through 12. The school has an enrollment of more than 850 students and is governed by the Mexico Academy and Central School. The school offers various subjects, including English, language arts, physics, chemistry, biology, social studies, mathematics, algebra, calculus and health and physical education. In addition, it offers foreign language, computer technology and fine arts classes. The high school is located in Mexico, N.Y., and offers a wide range of sports activities that include basketball, volleyball, ice hockey, swimming and diving, wrestling, and indoor track and field. In addition, Mexico High School houses the hand-carved wood block scenic mural, La Guerre D'independence, which depicts scenes from the American revolutionary war.
