WOW... 7 Salon is AMAZING

I never write reviews as Ive long suspected they are just full of employees writing in and over inflating the quality and experience, but after just leaving 7 Salon on Miami Beach, FL I had to say something. OK, OK, Im a guy... reviewing a hair salon.... I know what your thinking already, but Ive been going to a salon my whole adult life ( IM 42) to get my hair cut bypassing the SuperCuts and Mall Salons for a more unique experience and by far a better haircut. I had heard that this was a new place and after my own hairdresser moved away recently had been looking for a new place to go. IM SO HAPPY I WENT. First, I was greeted into the coolest lobby of a salon I have EVER seen... and Ive lived in Boston and New York City, so Ive seen many. This salon is SOOO cool. The waiting area had awesome seating on big oversized chairs and I was immediately served an espresso.... WHAT?? Not only an espresso, but the most delicious one Ive had in a while(I still love you Davids Cafe). The receptionist actually took the time to show me around the salon and introduce me to a few of the staff who were all polite and very approachable. She was busy with other things and took the time to show me around obviously proud of the place and had me hooked already. It gets better.... I was then put into a robe upon their insistance that my hair would get all down my shirt if I didnt change, so I did. The espresso had me jumping but I sank into the shampoo chair and a Swedish girl(HOT) had me feeling like jello in her strong massaging hands in a matter of minutes. The coolest thing was not only was she massaging me, but the chair had a builit in back massager and I was getting a full back massage at the same time.... AHHHHHHH.... I was escorted to the station where Jodi cut my hair. She was so cool, gorgeous, and an expert cutter as she took her time but not too much time.... remember the espresso? :) She had my hands full of Bumble and Bumble shampoo and conditioner and a brand new line from Japan, Shu Uemera (dont ask me to pronounce it) in which she gave me a dry wax for my hair that IM convinced is the best one Ive ever used. Maybe it was the whole experience from start to finish. Ive never been treated so well in Miami before and Ive been here over 12 years now. 7 Salon is one hot and special place. I give them all props and have recommended them to everyone who asks and even if they dont. I love the area too... great parking and not the crowds of Lincoln Road. Not sure anyone from the salon will read this, but if they do, thank you. Oh and they text message you for your confirmations..... WAY COOL...
