Slum Landlord & Scam artist management company. We lived in NYC for 20 years and never experienced a worse landlord or management company than BPM units. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY.
We rented an apartment for 2 years from BPM and the landlord never replaced any of the already broken items. They kept our security deposit claiming we damaged a door.
There were several reasons we moved out- one being that the building leaked on all our furniture since the ceiling in the bedrooms was never properly fixed after storm damage. The management company never compensated us for this.
When we first submitted documents for application to rent, the company ruined my credit after identity theft from the credit application. I spent a year trying to figure out what happened and the company never corrected the error. By the time I figured it out we were already living there for almost a year. I finally got an email from a class action lawsuit against the company so the error was expunged. This company is a scam and should have their business license revoked.
DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY OR PAY THEM TO MANAGE YOUR PROPERTY!
