I visited Columbus Restaurant for my birthday, me and some friends celebrated VIP style, even the chef himself brought a special plate for me and a nicely decorated cupcake with candles
Food was well presented and everything to our satisfaction, will visit again.

Very nice view but watch it they will tell you buy one get one for free. There drinks are $50 so your really paying for both. Your bill will be $300 or more for two. They scam you and trick you all day.

great location in the middle of ocean drive, no frills no thrills, outside seating, food was freshly prepared, tasteful (turkey club sandwich, beef lasagna) only a few steps from the beach.

This place has a great vibe and it is ideal to get your party started. Their menu includes options for many tastes, I celebrated my birthday here and had a great time. Strawberitas and Mojitos are their signature cocktails, two of many libations...

For most locals, Ocean Drive is a place to cross just to get to the beach, but in my case I had my family of four stop at Columbus Restaurant after a sunny day of fun. We ordered pizza and pasta for the kids, my hubby ordered steak New York style, I had a nice plate of seafood linguini.

We were seated outside, our waitress was very eager to serve our table and took care of many details that we appreciated very much.

Prices are the normal for a hotel place like The Colony but all in all I think it was worth it.

A very convincing hostess offered the restaurant's specials and was very convincing about their great atmosphere, I was seated by the bar and was an excellent spot for people seeing, the bartender was friendly and attentive, food was good too, I ordered cowboy steak and cold beer, it was a fine experience to finish my business trip in Miami beach

on a rainy day it was a life saver and we had a great time, waitstaff very attentive although they did take their sweet time to serve our food, our steak was good

first time in ocean drive ambience, Columbus Restaurant delivered good quality service although their food you may say is average yet tasteful

our group of 5 was happy with our choices (salmon, steak, salads, pizzas) they offer a variety to satisfy many tastes, and you can even combine options upon request

considering that their waitress saved us from the pouring rain, the "service charge" was more than deserved

we are unfamiliar with other places in this neighborhood but certainly this establishment sets a good standard for its competitors nearby

We were surprised with a $170 bill for 3 drinks with 18 tip automatically included. Other customers also argued bitterly about their bills, so this is a common practice.

The prices of drinks are not posted on their menus. I purchased two drinks from this establishment. One alcoholic the other virgin. My total for two drinks was $40.00. On top of that I was automatically added a 18% gratuity. When I inquired about the gratuity I was told they add this because people who visit from outside countries don't tip so they add it automatically. My gratuity was $10.00. My total bill for 2 drinks was $50.00. What a rip off!
