They BURNED my eyelids, then laughed about it!!! The girl who waxed my eyebrows did not check the temperature of the scalding hot wax she used. I also noticed that she did not blow on the stick before applying it to my right eyebrow. I flinched and said, "ouch". She said, "Oh, hot?" I said, "yes". She proceeded with the same technique for the left eyebrow. This time I really felt it scalding my skin. I said, "It's too hot". After the wax job was over I still felt my eyelids stinging. The next morning the skin of both eyelids had dark red streaks where the skin was burned. I had to walk around for 4 days looking crazy.

When I returned to them to show them the damage that was done, I called the technician outside so as not to talk about this in front of the customers inside. She apologized and offered for me to come in and she would "fix" it. I said, "No thanks, I just want a complimentary wax next time." (I have patronized their store for the past year getting mani pedi and eyewax. I thought they would try to keep me as a customer. It really wasn't about the $10, but about the customer service.) But the girl said that she couldn't give me a free wax next time and looked at her boss who was smoking outside. He repeated and laughed, "We cannot give you a free eyewax". I said, "But you guys burned my eyelids!" He had the nerve to say laughingly, "Yeah, the wax is hot. It happens" I could not believe it. I should have told him that the last time an asian spa place burned by eyelids, I sued them and won $1800! But I just said, "OK, then, I won't be coming back here again."
