Provided by YP.comBay Parc Plaza is the worst company ever. When we were looking for apartments, we were surprised by their level of service and decided to may Bay Parc Plaza our home. After signing the contract, the building became our worst nightmare. The parking situation was not organized and i was given 4 different spots because the ones prior were already assigned to someone else or the parking space was being occupied. You have a maximum of 2 elevators working at a time. We have had packages missing and no one wanted to take responsibility even when showing them proof that the guard signed for it. Our apartment got flooded 3 times and had to deal with loud blowers in and out of the unit to dry it up. 15 months later, we were excited to leave this hell hole, or at least that what we thought. They made our moving out experience even worse. They will also nickel and dime you and disguise fees to have you pay more. We even sent a complaint letter to Aimco and we did not receive an apology either. If you want to live in a peaceful place, we do not recommend Bay Parc Plaza. The only good thing this building has is location, thats it.

Provided by YP.comI love the location. They can improve upon the following: garage gates and cleanliness of common areas.

Provided by YP.comThis a very awful apartment. It has been my home for the past 3 years, and I can say that on the security side it sucks.
Sadly, I pay for a storage unit that the charge on an extra cost, but you on the same side sign something that they give up all the responsibility and they say that its all on you.
The storage room was completely robbed. this is very curious, because there is only one key to get access nor they have a record nor they care to check who goes in or out and what they take. never to mention they lack of cameras for checking the status of the storage units.
This is very unfair, since they charge and control everything on the building (AIMCO own the whole building) yet they are just in for the money that you generate but don try to make your lifestyle more comfortable, yet they only care that the building is fully rented and everything else doesn't matter for them.
But I can say how good they are for you to be on time to pay. If you don't pay the firsts days of the month, they will overcharge you with $200 USD, and same, they don't improve on security, even if they are getting money on their pockets.
One month after I reported the robbery, and they stating were going to improve the securities conditions (as the only way they wanted to become responsible for the situation - not recognizing any of my loses, which includes luggage, expensive watches, sport instruments, and more) I got myself into the building, and the gates (which should be closed) open all the way at 11 PM. Not to mention that there was no security person in the gates to check that nothing got in or out without be certain that they should.
Long story short, the storage rooms are accessible from the garage, which makes my kind of situation easy for any people that wants to take something (again) from the units. What was my surprise? management said exactly the same after my robbery - we are working on the issue, it will not happen again - yet they still don't do anything.
So bottom line its try to not rent here, they will not make sure your lifestyle becomes better, and they only will care of when you payment is due. Nevertheless, the girls that talk to you are very nice, but are not the manager, and the manager simply goes for the pockets of the company, that is revenue revenue - and don't give back much.

Provided by YP.comstay away, they will take your money, soul, sanity, and anything else that they believe may be of value. They have an outrageous new AC charge to the bill, it started in small increments but now is more expensive than the electricity in my unit. the gate is always broken yet they still bill you every month 100 bucks for parking, ohh and its not that safe because bums have managed to get into the building. The machines in the gym are so old and fragile that they are usually broken, i have never use the pool because it is disgusting and i can only imagine what the "sauna" looks like. there are plenty of places in the area that will serve your needs and will not make you sick. A home should be a sanctuary where one retires to relax, it should not be one of the places that stresses you out. This place and the staff are ghetto, hell the projects of NY are safer than this god forsaken hell. Run....and keep on running..and don't look back.

Provided by YP.comI have lived in several apartments in Miami and I would have to say that Bay Parc Plaza is the WORST!
Why? Because the management is extremely rude... to the point where it's almost comical. The times I've asked for help I've been told that they can not help me.
We have a laundry room on the 10th floor, but residents CAN NOT USE IT! Why not, you might ask... are the machines broken? No, of course not, they are all in fully operational condition. But they require a laundry card that only takes the OLD style dollar bills. You know, the ones with the small faces that the government stopped producing almost 10 years ago. Good luck finding one. I asked the management for some help and they said with a straight face "The machine only takes the old style bills, you'll have to find some. Try asking the valet guy." WOW, THAT'S CUSTOMER SERVICE! If you have an extremely outdated machine, I'd expect that you stockpile the old bills so you could provide them to residents who ask for help. That would be a novel idea!
The elevators are ALWAYS broken. Actually let me correct myself. They are ALMOST always broken, and the other half of the time the management simply forgets to turn them on. Asking the concierge would possibly get them to turn them back on, but also possibly get a response that they were instructed to leave them off.
The parking garage is RIDICULOUS! The gates were broken for over 6 months. They "fixed" them several times, but shockingly that did not stop the gate from falling on the roof of my car. I called the front desk to tell them what had happened and management never did a thing to help me. Oh yea, and I drive a convertible like many people in Miami. Do you know what happens to a convertible when a gate falls on the roof? Instead of fixing the gates (or elevators), management decided that it was necessary to install extremely tall speed bumps throughout the entire garage. If you're unlucky and get a spot on the 9th floor (which is .75 miles up) it will take you a good 5-10 minutes just to get your car out of the building!
Stay away from this building. It is a joke.
