Provided by YP.comCity watch security service is the best security guard service the condominium that I live in has hired. The security guards inside the guard house re very courteous and well trained for the jobs that they do around the condo. Just the other day I got stuck in one of the elevators in my building and one of the security guards came and helped me through the whole thing until the fire department came and got me out. They offer very good service; they call every single time one of my friends come over so that I know they’re coming into the building. Even when I broke up with my boyfriend, they called to let me know that he was there even though they know I always let him in. which is good because last time I lived in a condo like that they let an ex-boyfriend in without letting me know and I wasn’t home. He ended up breaking all the things in my apartment. I’m glad that this new security service doesn’t just let anyone in through the gates. I would hate to through all that again. I love City Watch Security Service they’re the best guard service I’ve ever seen.

Provided by YP.comCity Watch Proctetive Services is not a reliable company to work for. The owner Percy Palma keeps a months worth of pay from his employees. After a few months he fires them without warning by telling them they will be assigned to a new post which ends up being a lie. There are no new posts because he doesn't have the contracts. He has been sued before and continues to operate under a new company name which is registered to other family members. Percy Palma is known for writing false checks to his employees. Employees are scheduled to get paid twice a month, on the 7th and the 22nd and not even then are there enough funds in the account to cover payroll. You have to call him numerous times to get him to pay you and it ends up being in installments. You can't call out sick because you will automatically be replaced. This company doesn't offer benefits nor does it pay for holidays or time and a half. The contracts he has from the posts pay the holiday rates to City Watch Protective Serivices but he doesn't pass them forward to the employees who are the ones working during the holidays. Percy Palma and everyone associated with him operating alias company names for him is a crook who steals from the people who work hard to maintain a living. Unfortunately he will continue to operate his business and get away with it.
First off let me say how sorry I am that you are discontent with this company or its services. Unfortunately I am not familiar with your case or what may have happened to warrant your dismissal from our company. These are excerpts straight off the contract that every new employee reads and signs before beginning employment with CWS. This is the reason why we withhold an employee’s first paycheck.— Should you quit without giving two weeks’ notice or should you commit an illegal or immoral act during employment, you will lose your “last” payroll check. In order to ensure that we indeed have your last paycheck we keep the first. This is merely a precaution that we as a company take in order to protect our reputation if an employee does something illegal that affects the company. Also, in order to have sufficient funds to hire a new employee if a previous one quits without notice. Furthermore, security officers may be assigned to work at different posts, with different schedules and hourly rates. There is no guarantee that the post you are initially assigned and/or scheduled to will be permanent. Your hours may vary, as there is no guarantee of 40 hours per week. It is the nature of CWS to provide security officers for a variety of clients and to rotate security officers from post to post to prevent familiarity. As the contract states paydays are the 7th and 22nd of each month. It also states that the checks will be delivered to the post after 6:00 pm. It is the employee’s sole responsibility to collect his paycheck from the guard house or post, once again AFTER 6:00 pm. If you are not scheduled to work that day, then you must retrieve the paycheck your next scheduled workday before going home. It is not Percy’s job to follow you and make sure that you receive your paycheck. It is stated that your pay rate is determined by assignment and performance, and will be adjusted accordingly, and is based upon the understanding that you will be honest and diligent at your work. You must call at least 12 hours in advance to inform your immediate supervisor about your absence from your post. If you fail to show up to work, it will be assumed by CWS that you have resigned your position and your post will be immediately filled. Contract also states that as an employee you are put on a 90-day probationary period. During which period you will be evaluated by CWS as well as the management staff of the establishment. Again I am sorry that you are displeased with our services. Unfortunately when employees become insubordinate, start slacking off, and fall asleep at their post the proper measures must be taken so that it does not happen again.
