The Coral Gables Public Works Department provides maintenance of streets, waterways and city buildings located in the city of Coral Gables, Fla. The department performs a variety of tasks, including the issuance of permits and the performance of inspections of constructions in the right-of-way, the provision of engineering and architectural services for the city, the maintenance of the city s sanitary sewer and storm sewer systems and the maintenance of plant records. The department is overseen by a director, which provides oversight to divisions that include administration, engineering, architecture, facilities maintenance, utilizes, right-of-way enforcement and maintenance, and trolley and transportation.
