I went for the first time, ordered the Ox Tail and it was sooooooooo salty that I only are about 3 bites. Manager came apologized and charged me only the juice...$5.00.

We go to El Pinero for lunch almost every day, since it is close to were we work. The food is exceptionally delicious and done to perfection. The menu specials are very affordable and each day has 2-3 specials. The service is very good, the place is very clean and attractive.

Went for breakfast today and was very disappointed. Ordered papa rellena which was served cold. Ordered eggs, sausage, house potatoes and Cuban bread with café con leche and the eggs ordered suaves and were totally runny, the sausage was cut hot dog, the house potatoes had a horrible taste with some green condiment and the Cuban toast was soaked and dripping with poor quality margarine. The prices in the menu also too high for Cuban food. The locale and furnishing were attractive and clean but needs to step up.
