"Elda E. Hernandez, M.D., is board-certified in internal medicine with recertification in 2017. At Conviva Little Havana, she leads a team of professionals dedicated to medical excellence in compassionate, patient-focused health care. Dr. Hernandez completed her internal medicine residency training at the Jersey City Medical Center in Jersey City, New Jersey, in 1984. She earned her medical degree from the Universidad Central del Este in the Dominican Republic and is a member of the AMA, American Medical Association, and the FMA, Florida Medical Association. Dr. Hernandez has been recognized through the NCQA’s Diabetes Recognition Program (DRP). Clinicians who achieve DRP Recognition show their peers, patients and others in the Diabetes community that they are part of an elite group that is publicly recognized for its skill in providing the highest-level diabetes care. Dr. Hernandez enjoys reading, photography and gardening."
