Mark Caruso, M.D., is an internal medicine physician with Baptist Health Primary Care, a part of Baptist Health Medical Group, an organization of more than 180 physicians in multiple specialties closely aligned with Baptist Health South Florida. With more than 30 years of clinical experience, he specializes in the prevention and promotion of adult health and wellness and the diagnosis and treatment of chronic diseases and complex illnesses. He has vast experience treating patients with undifferentiated or multisystem disease processes. Dr. Caruso was an assistant professor of medicine at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. He serves as subsection chief of general medicine at Baptist Hospital and chairman of the Bylaws, Rules and Regulations Committee, and has been a member of the department of medicine's Quality Assurance Advisory Committee for 15 years. He served as a member of Baptist Hospital's Board of Directors.
