Miami Dance Collective provides dance classes for beginning through advanced dancers Ages 3-18. These classes are designed for the dancer who is including the art of dance in his or her life for enjoyment. Offering two levels of programming: the Studio Program and the Company Program. The Studio Program consists of developmental classes that include progressive instruction in technique, repertoire, flexibility & strength conditioning, and performance skills. Students move through the levels based on their development, technical ability, mental preparedness and dedication & maturity. Miami Dance Collective's Company Program is a ballet-based program designed to provide a strong technical foundation while building individual artistry. This program is designed to fulfill the needs of serious dance students who seek opportunities that will eventually permit them to make the transition from a pre- professional to a professional dancer career or University dance program. Company members will perform annually in their own concert held during the spring season and will attend several convention/competition events. Dancers will also be given the opportunity to train and work with guest choreographers.
