For more than 60 years, Miami Waste Paper has been a strong leader in Miamis recycling industry and a steadfast supporter of the business community. In 1944, at a time when few people ever heard of recycling, entrepreneur Roy Kopstein began picking up the discarded cardboard boxes that held boots and uniforms of the boys who went off to war. He recycled them for the war effort and thus, Miami Waste Paper was born.
