I was looking for a dentist for my kids. I didn't want a general dentist with no patience (as my kids require lots!). Instead, I wanted someone who LIKES working on children, and understands if my lovely little girl bites! Long story short, I was there Monday and wound up having a great experience. The girls were very pleasant and informative. They spoke "mommy". Dr. Ortiz was a doll! She had a wonderful demeanor and even had a conversation with my son about his love of dinosaurs. My daughter took to her very well and was proud of her "accomplishment" after her cleaning. Unfortunately she had cavities but the price was very reasonable - even being a specialist! (my general dentist charged me more for her previous cavity). For those of you wondering, she was great with the crying kids too. You can tell she loves kids and enjoys what she does. I'm thrilled that I decided to try her out! -- If only they would work on me too! LOL!

I took my kids to see Dr. Ortiz at Pediatric Dental Associates and wish I had done so sooner. Let me tell you, my kids used to be afraid to go to the dentist; it was like pulling teeth so to speak, to get them into the car, but not anymore. The staff at this office knew how to put them at ease and erase their fear. Dr. Ortiz and her staff are very friendly, professional and you could see they truly care about their patients and are passionate about what they do. The office is clean and kid friendly too. The best part of this experience was to hear my kids tell me they are no longer afraid of the dentist.

I had the worst experience with these peple. Everything is a mess. Making an appointment is almost impossible and once youre there they dont even find your name on their 500 patients list. They would do anything to overcharge even for the simplest procedure.
