BE AWARE…….BACKYARD LOOKING SALON AND SERVICE!!!



Do not waist your time at this place. Cheap looking Salon and Clueless service. They simply do not care about customers. Very rude staff.



I booked a week ahead my appointment for Dec 24 at noon and requested a hairdresser that somebody I know referred to me as “good”.



Around 9AM on the appointment day, I called just to verify some details, the woman that took the call after looking and checking in her book, toll me that simply I did not have any appointment with them and that she was not able to do anything for me. I explained many times to this woman that I have an event that day and I need it to get my hair fix. I got really mad, because after 20 minutes talking with this woman I was not getting anywhere…. She simply was not in the move to solve what I call their mistake and help a customer. Imaging in a day like Dec 24, is almost mission impossible to get a space with a hairdresser in any salon. So I was pushing her to fix the situation and finally she says “ call after 10 AM, I am going to be talking with the person that took your appointment and verify what happen that you were not booked. I called back and they give me a different hour from the one that I requested. I was very annoyed. I have been in many other salon, and a new customer is always treated like royalty, this place treat you like garbage.



When I arrived….OMG…. they all look at me like the enemy.. they treat me rudely in an unspoken way. They did not wash my hair well, it was feeling dirty and still with gel. I asked her to washed again, and she did not want to ….and to make it worse she said…. “that would not affect your hair , your hair would look nice at the end”…..Ohh yeap!....they also treat you like you do not have a brain.



Well at the end …the hairdresser (Maria Elena), did not liked that I requested her to wash again my hair properly…..She was drying my hair, and it was looking just horrible and stiff. This woman was creating and argument, and begin shouting at me in from of everyone just for nothing and ask me to leave the salon.



‘Well fine with me …. just in from of them there is a very nice and more luxury salon (funny they charge less, and have better prices and offer a lot more). (JEDIVA Salon & Spa 305 595 7778 near the coin laundry). I explain the situation to the owner, and they all laugh. One of the hairdresser said …that is not the first time that something like that happen in that salon. They treat me very well and with a professional manner.



Minerva, a Cuban hairdresser fixes my hair beautifully, they did everything to accommodate me. At the end PILATOS DID FOR ME A BIG FAVOR, and just help me at the end to find a professional, and great service salon that offer a lot to their customer for a very competent price. JEDIVA have win a new customer. I purchase a few products from their very nice selection, an booked a Keratin for Dec 30. Minerva is very knowledgeable, simply a top-notch hairdresser.
