The stuff you buy there really...

The stuff you buy there really makes a difference in Miami. The people who work there are people who can't get a job anywhere else. They take drug addicts and the homeless who want to turn their lives around, provide drug treatment programs, teach them the basic skills we all take for granted, like showering, getting up and dressing professionally, and taking pride in their work. They even provide certifications for other professions because everyone can't possibly work at a Thrift store. Shopping at The Salvation Army really is getting beggars off the street corner. I only wish more people were willing to go there and turn their lives around.

I never donate to GoodWill . I only donate to the Salvation Army because their CEO's and management receive minimum salaries and the rest goes to people in need. They have fewer areas for drop off because they put money in other areas, trust me it's worth the extra drive to give to a company that gives to others and NOT their greedy pockets- like Good Will!
