Carlos C After Hurricane Irma we were left without a dock so my wife and I went on a search for a Company that would rebuild it. Yesterday morning when I woke up and looked at the finished product I knew we had chosen the right Company. The process that took about 9 months, primarily due to permitting, was a great experience. I would recommend Southern Marine hands down.

I have been using this company since 1986. They are fair and honest. They rebuilt my dock after Andrew and again after Irma. These guys do expert workmanship,with attention to detail and beautifully done. I am so pleased. After Andrew I asked the owner why he didn't just hire a bunch of workman and make a killing. He told me he would just end up redoing everything that the non professionals would do. So,he never compromised his product. I admired his integrity then and now. This company has pride in their workmanship and try to make it a work of art. I was compelled to write this review in appreciation of fine workmanship.

Was rude and short on the phone about travel distances.

Was rude and short about the recommendation to fix their Yellowpage listing.



Despite good reviews I would not use this company or recommend them to others.



Anyone rude during a misunderstanding is not a good person.

Anyone unwilling to own responsibility is not a good person.

Any company hiring bad people is a bad company.



I am not even convinced she is correct about my location or their service range, but her conduct makes me unwilling to second guess her or continue dealing with the company.

WHEN I NEEDED A BOATLIFT AND MY DOCK REPAIRED(REPLACED) i INTERVIEWED SEVERAL MARINE CONTRACTORS. tHEY GAVE ME A FAIR PRICE, DID IT RT THE FIRST TIME AND IT LOOKS AND WORKS GREAT!!!

The new dock is terrific! The workmanship is excellent.
